AUM softball falls back to seventh in latest NAIA Top 25 poll
Despite a 3-1 week against top 15 opponents, the Auburn Montgomery softball team continued its familiar rotation between sixth and seventh in the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 poll.
The Warhawks dropped to seventh in the sixth edition of the rankings, receiving a total of 453 points. AUM has placed sixth or seventh in each of the last five polls.
Concordia (Calif.) maintained its stranglehold on the top spot, garnering 560 points and 19-of-20 first place votes. Lubbock Christian also held onto the second position. Lee and Williams Baptist each moved up one spot to third and fourth, respectively, while Cal State San Marcos fell from third to fifth.
