Elmore Co. accident claims the life of a Hueytown man
Elmore County -- A three-vehicle crash today claimed the life of a Hueytown man. The crash occurred at 10:15 a.m. on Alabama 9, 10 miles north of Wetumpka. Melvin Wayne Little, 70, was killed when his 2003 GMC Sonoma was hit from the rear by a 1999 Ford F-800 van driven by James McGaughy of Prattville. Both vehicles were traveling south. Little's vehicle then traveled into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2003 Ford Explore driven by Sundee Davis of Martinez, Ga. Both McGaughy and Davis were taken to a local hospital for their injuries. No additional information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
