Ben is a one year old, neutered male Rat Terrier mix whose owner abandoned him along with two other dogs.  He is about 25-30 lbs, very happy and playful, great with dogs of all sizes and would be a wonderful dog for an active family with children who want a new best buddy.   Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats which completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, 45 days of pet health insurance and a free health exam with your veterinarian.  To meet Ben and so many others come to the shelter at 255 Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, AL, 36092, go to our website at www.elmorehumane.org, give us a call at 334-567-3377 or email hselco@bellsouth.net.   We are open for adoptions Mon-Thu 10-4, Fri 10-5 and Sat 9-3.
