Wishbone Studios to Host Classic Rock Fundraising Event for Humane Society of Elmore County | Events

Event Date and Time: Saturday, January 26 from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Location: Wishbone Studios, 2625 Zelda Road in Montgomery

Ticket prices: $10 each in advance or $15 at the door

Join Wishbone Studios on Zelda Road for an evening of classic rock 'n roll to benefit the Humane Society of Elmore County. Featured bands will include the event's host "Wishbone" and recently reunited Montgomery natives "Free Flight". Wishbone Studios is a new Montgomery event venue that hosts concerts, parties, corporate outings and all types of fundraising events for organizations such as the Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity and others.

Rea Cord, Director of the Humane Society of Elmore Co. is thrilled that Wishbone Studios is hosting them to raise money to support the many animals that are protected, treated and then placed in adopted homes by the shelter. "On a busy month, we will receive 30 or more animals each day from throughout Elmore County that need a loving and safe home. Last year, we provided over 4,000 animals with adopted homes."

Animals received by the Humane Society of Elmore County are vaccinated, de-wormed, spayed or neutered, given rabies vaccines and otherwise rehabilitated and cared for by HSEC employees and volunteers. Ticket sales for the Wishbone Studios event on January 26th will help cover the costs of food, supplies and medical treatments for the animals cared for by the shelter. This week's "Pet of the Week" is named Trevor (photo attached), a playful 6 month old Lab mix. Trevor will weigh about 40-45 pounds when full grown. He is a handsome and active dog and would make a great pet for a family with a back yard where he can run and play with a new "best friend".

Wishbone Studios invites you to "BYOB" and "bring your own food", just as if you were enjoying a band at your own home with friends. Elmore County Humane Society staff will provide soft drinks, water and pizza for sale at the event while you rock out to your classic favorites. 

If you have extra blankets that you would like to donate to the shelter, please bring them to the event. Humane Society staff will be accepting them to help keep the precious pets comfy and cozy until adopted to new homes.
